Sycamore Congregational Church is a diverse church that welcomes all people. We are a Japanese/English bilingual member of the United Church of Christ in El Cerrito, California with two worship services each Sunday, in Japanese and English.
While Sycamore is committed to serving the Japanese speaking community and celebrating Japanese culture and traditions through worship, education, and community events, we are blessed with a diverse congregation and welcome all of God's people.

Sycamore Calls New Co-Senior Minister
We are pleased to announce that Sycamore Congregational Church has called Kevin Omi to serve with Pastor Sharon as Co-Senior Pastor, effective January 1. Within the next two years, Pastor Sharon will retire and Kevin will continue as Sycamore's full time Senior Pastor. Kevin will be ordained at First Congregational Church of Berkeley, at 2345 Channing Way and he would like to invite the entire Sycamore community. Please save November 27th at 3 pm for this very special event.
